Tequila sells as a broodmare only. She is a fantastic mother and has produced some fabulous foals. Her first foal is doing third level dressage with his owner. Her 2010 filly, Margarita Thyme PAS, just won every class (Halter, & SHIH) she was entered in at the Tulsa State Fair.
We got this mare as a potential riding project for my teenage sister back in July. Sadly it turns out that Tequila has an old back injury that causes her pain when ridden. Her last owner was unaware of this as she had only used her as a broodmare. I will pass along her entire history as it has been told to me to anyone who asks.
She has only been here at our farm since Oct 2nd but she settled in quickly. She has great ground manners, is very sweet and friendly. She has gorgeous fluid gaits, a lovely head, & long elegant neck, which she passes on to her foals. My farrier remarked about what great feet she has when he trimmed them.
Since we have no desire to breed half-arabians we are highly motivated to place this mare in a good home that will allow her to continue producing great athletic foals.
